About Twister Improv
Twister Improv is a grassroots improvisational comedy group based in the North East, founded in 2025. We're passionate about improv comedy as a way to bring the local community together, creating memorable moments through laughter, games, and audience interaction.
Our format is highly interactive and inclusive, with plenty of opportunities to influence the show with your suggestions. However, if you'd prefer to sit back and enjoy the show, don't worry, we won't pick on you!
Alongside a mix of fun improv games and scenes, we incorporate a fun twist: the Twister! This is a large spinner, like you'd see on a game show, adding some chaos into the mix and keeping us on our toes! We also love to perform musical scenes and games, so expect some sing-along moments 🎶
